Meet Jane

A smiling woman with blonde hair, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, sits on a stone bench surrounded by green shrubbery with orange fruits. A large, gray, fluffy dog with a happy expression sits in front of her.

Jane Mayer, Owner, Teacher & Facilitator

After more than 20 years in the wellness industry—owning studios, teaching groups and workshops, leading training programs, and writing curriculum and books—Jane Mayer thought she might be ready to step away.

Then she found a small community yoga studio in need of a new leader.

What began as an unexpected opportunity became a new chapter: Centered. Jane saw the potential to create a space not only for yoga, but for teachers, facilitators, and community leaders of all kinds to share their gifts and create meaningful in-person experiences.

Her own path has been anything but linear, from raising two sons to earlier years in New York City as a television commercial producer in advertising, and then decades devoted to wellness, teaching, and community building.

If there’s one thing Jane has learned, it’s that we’re never really done. When we stay open to possibility, new opportunities have a way of finding us.

Centered is her latest chapter—and a space for others to begin theirs.

Come as you are. Find what you need. Return to center.

“Centered is about creating a welcoming place where people can share what they love, bring others together, and create meaningful experiences in community.”

— Jane Mayer, Centered owner
